(FESTUS) The Festus Crystal City Elks Lodge #1721 is flying a new flag today. “Old Glory” measures 30 ft x 60 ft and is at the top of a 120 foot flag pole. According to Elks Exalted Ruler Chip Price, the flag pole was erected Wednesday on the Elks Lodge property and it overlooks one of the busiest intersections in Jefferson County.
Price and the Elks believe the flag flying above the bluff will become a notable landmark…
According to Price, during the past few days workers have been completing the concrete work, constructing and welding the flag pole.
