(Festus) You don’t earn a nickname like “Truck” unless you can hit like one.
Festus Tigers senior Desmond Davis ran roughshod over opposing offensive lines all season on his way to making the Regional Radio Dream Team.
Davis finished with over 20 tackles loss from his defensive tackle spot.
He says he’s honored to receive the recognition from area football coaches.
Davis helped the Tigers win 10 games and their first district championship since 2011.
He says he knew new head coach A.J. Ofodile was the right man for the job early in the season.
And Davis extends his gratitude to Ofodile even further.
Davis was named the MAFC Red Division’s defensive player of the year.
