Festus Detective Sergeant Pippen Will be Promoted Monday

(FESTUS) A promotion will be made Monday May 22nd, in the Festus Police Department. According to Festus Police Chief Doug Wendel, Detective Sergeant Lewis Pippen will be promoted to Captain, filling the position vacated by Wendel when he became Chief.
According to Chief Wendel, Pippen is a well organized officer.
The Captain in the Festus Police Department serves as second in command and helps oversee the daily functions of the Department and is also responsible for the direct oversight of the Patrol and Detective divisions.
