Festus Fire Department getting new equipment

(Festus) While the Festus Fire Department will be purchasing a new pumper truck to be delivered in 2022, the department is also updating and replacing some aging equipment. Fire Chief Kevin Craemer says the city approved the purchases in the new budget.
Chief Craemer says they were also approved to add a new position within their staff.
The new fire equipment purchases will total around 87 thousand dollars. The new Festus city budget began October 1st.
