Festus Football Senior Chase Rystrom Makes Dream Team

(Festus) Festus football senior Chase Rystrom had a big season as center and defensive tackle for the Tigers, earning him a spot on the 2018 Fall Dream Team.

The feeling Rystrom had when he found out he made Dream Team makes him feel that his hard work has paid off.

 
When asked about the season, Rystrom says that it was the collective effort of the entire O-line that led to the success of the Tigers’ run game.

 
Rystrom also mentions that the collective defensive effort was another major factor that led to the Tigers’ success this season.

 
To add to Chase’s Dream Team honors this season, the Missouri Football Coaches Association voted him as a Class 4 3rd Team Offensive Lineman.

He was also a unanimous choice for the MAFC All-Conference 1st Team O-line. On the defensive side, Chase finished the season with 13 tackles, 10 assists, and 1 fumble recovery.
