(FESTUS) The Festus baseball team beats Windsor 10-0 in 6 innings on KJFF today in its Class 4 District 2 tournament 1st round tune-up.

The Tigers get a complete game five-hit, 11 strikeout shutout from Charlie Pratt for his 2nd win of the season. With the score favoring the Tigers at 5-0 in the 4th, shortstop Eddie Martin comes through with his only RBI of the game.

Festus head coach Jeff Montgomery likes the fact that Pratt was able to pitch from beginning to end.

Windsor head coach Jeff Young says his guys didn’t play clean enough baseball.

With the loss, the Owls will enter the Class 4 District 2 tournament on Saturday at 5-16. They’ll match up with Festus in the first round. The 14-7 Tigers have one more game to go in the regular season, hosting Lutheran South on Thursday.
