Festus Goodwin property update

(Festus) After months of speculation and opinions from residents, there will be some movement and news to share in terms of what is coming to the Goodwin property on the south end of Festus. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp wanted to update residents of the commitment of the Hampton Inn and Suites.
Camp says they can now announce a new business that will be coming in.
It’s unclear as to when the construction phase will begin and when the Planet Fitness location will be opening.
Planet Fitness has eleven locations in the St. Louis Metro area.
