Festus High School to Perform Alice in Wonderland

(Festus) The Festus High School drama department will be presenting the play Alice in Wonderland next week. Some of the students spoke about performing the show as the final performance of the school year. Maddy Griffin is playing the Red Queen. She says performing a classic like Alice in Wonderland has been a lot of fun.

Saigel Micken is playing the role of Alice, she along with Griffin, talked about jumping into auditions and rehearsals quickly after the school musical ended in March.

Alice in Wonderland will be presented at the Festus High School Performing Arts Center next Thursday, May 4th, and Friday, May 5th, with evening performances and on Saturday, May 6th with an afternoon show. There will be a meet and greet “tea party” at noon on that Saturday prior to the afternoon performance at 2 PM. You can purchase tickets at the door for each show.
