Festus Library Gets New Carpeting

(FESTUS) New carpeting awaits visitors at Festus Public Library. The carpeting had to be replaced after a water pipe burst in January which flooded a portion of the library. Library Director Elizabeth Steffen is happy with the look of the carpeting.
According to Steffen, a few things still need to be moved in the meeting rooms to allow groups to return.
The library was closed for repairs for two weeks after January 17th. Staff provided curbside service until the library re-opened February 1st.
