Festus man injured in Saturday accident

A Festus man was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Twin Rivers Road at Bynes Mill Road on Saturday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 58-year old Daniel Kirchner of House Springs, driving a 2014 Ford Focus, was making a left turn from Twin Rivers onto Byrnes Mill and pulled into the path of a 2007 Nissan Altima driven by 22-year old Alexander Hall. Hall was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and was taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Clare hospital with moderate injuries, while Kirchner was not injured. The accident took place at 1:15 Saturday afternoon.
