Festus man injured in Ste. Genevieve County accident

A Festus man was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Route DD near Oak Drive early Monday morning in Ste. Genevieve County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 27-year old Irvin Robertson was driving a 2012 Chevy Equinox south on DD, crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck a tree. Robertson was not wearing a seatbelt and airlifted to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. The accident took place at 3 o’clock Monday morning.
