Festus Man Seriously Injured In Car Accident

A Festus man was seriously injured in a car accident Monday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on US-67 at Meyer Road. The accident occurred when a 2001 Toyota RAV4 being driven by 70-year-old Michael Hodge ran a red light and struck the front of a 2011 Ford Escape driven by 61-year-old Festus resident Jeri Fadler. Hodge’s car then overturned off the right side of the roadway. Hodge was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis and his car was totaled. Fadler’s car received extensive damage, but Fadler herself was not injured.
