Festus meets St. Pius in boys’ soccer on KJFF’s JeffCo Game of the Week

(Festus) The Jefferson County Game of the Week sees 2 teams with high expectations in boys’ soccer matching up Wednesday, as the St. Pius Lancers host the Festus Tigers on KJFF.

Festus is off to a 1-3 start after a 8-0 loss to Perryville Tuesday.

Head coach Austin Burgert says his team is still finding its physical and mental footing, but they’re progressing.

After a 3-1 win against Windsor Tuesday, St. Pius is now 3-1 on the young season.

The Lancers have won 14 straight and 15 of 16 against the Tigers.
