Festus Post 253 Comes From Behind To Advance To Zone 4 Championship Game

(Ballwin, MO) Festus Legion 253 will play for the American Legion AAA Zone 4 Championship after coming from behind to beat Jackson 7-6 Thursday night in walk-off fashion. Festus trailed 4-1 after two innings and 6-3 after five frames, but a four-run bottom of the 7th culminated with a Jaxin Patterson walk-off single to send Festus to the championship game Saturday evening at 5:45. Festus’ opponent is still to-be-determined. Ste. Genevieve Post 150 will play in an elimination game Friday evening at 5:45 against Eureka. The winner of that game will then play Jackson Friday night at 8 o’clock for the right to play Festus in the championship tomorrow.
