(Festus) The Festus Public Library opens today (Monday). The library closed on March 18th, and reopened a few weeks ago with a curbside service to check out books, but they are now ready to open their doors to the public. Festus Library Director Elizabeth Steffen gave some of the safety guidelines.
Steffen says some computers will be available to use, but they are asking visitors to not use them for more then an hour.
The Festus Public Library will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 10AM until 3PM, and curbside services will continue Monday through Thursday from 3:30PM until 6:30PM, and Friday’s from 3:30PM to 4:30PM. There will be no programming until further notice and passport processing will begin at a later date. Also, book donations will not be accepted until further notice.
