Festus R-6 Play Unified Basketball game

(Festus) Dozens of 6th grade Festus R-6 students took part in a Play Unified Basketball game last week.
Superintendent Dr. Nicki Ruess says Festus R-6 was the first Missouri school named as a National Banner Play Unified School, which goes along with Special Olympics.
During the game students of all abilities played four quarters of basketball.
Dr. Ruess mentions Festus R-6 has been doing the Play Unified Basketball game since 2020.
