March 1, 2021 8:45AM CST
(Festus) In a special session last Friday, the Festus R-6 School Board of Education met to accept the resignation of Assistant Superintendent Nathan Holder.
Kevin Pope is the Coordinator of Communications & Special Projects. He says Holder has accepted an administrative position for a school district outside of the Kansas City area.
Prior to his arrival at Festus schools, Holder served as Superintendent for the Steelville School District. He has been employed at Festus R-6 since July 2013.
A search for a successor will commence immediately with the goal of having a recommendation for the R-VI Board of Education to consider no later than mid-April.
