Festus schools construction update

(Festus) The Festus R-6 School District is moving along with its construction projects which are expected to be completed during the upcoming school year. Festus Superintendent Dr. Link Luttrell says the Performing Arts Center is on schedule to be ready by November.

Dr. Luttrell says work on the new baseball and softball facility is still a few weeks from completion.

Work is also close to finishing on restroom renovations at the elementary and high school buildings. The first day of classes in the Festus R-6 School District is Monday, August 23rd.
