Festus Schools Stick with In-Person Classes, for Now

(Festus) As several Jefferson County schools cancel in-person classes and close campus buildings due to a high number of COVID-19 and quarantine cases, the Festus School District will continue to offer in-person classes five days a week.

The school district also offers an all virtual learning option for students who feel more comfortable learning off campus.

In a statement released by Festus schools, Superintendent Dr. Link Luttrell discusses the possibility of switching to an all virtual plan, “While not the plan, it is a definite possibility. I highly recommend that all parents plan accordingly for a scenario in which our schools are forced to move into an ‘All-Virtual’ instructional model.”
