Festus’ Shaver named Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week

(Festus) Festus Tigers freshman Peyton Shaver is the Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week.
Shaver brought home the title at 160 pounds at the Rebel Wrestling Invitational Saturday in Park Hills, continuing a dominant debut season where he is 29-2.
Tigers head coach Jared Sheppard says, for a young wrestler, Shaver is pretty close to the complete package.
Shaver pinned all 4 of his opponents at Central High School, bringing him to 14 total for the season.
As Athlete of the Week, he receives a T-shirt, a certificate and a coupon for a free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
