Festus student test positive for Covid-19

(Festus) A Festus student has tested positive for Covid-19 this week. The student was competing in fall sports practices and was on campus on Monday according to Festus R-6 Superintendant Dr. Link Luttrell.

Dr. Luttrell says things like this are bound to happen from time to time, but safety is certainly the priority.

Dr. Luttrell says Festus School District will remain on schedule to open up the 2020-21 School year on Monday, August 24th.

There were a few Hillsboro students who tested positive during their summer school program.
