Festus Volleyball Primed and Prepped for Tough 2019

(FESTUS) The Festus volleyball Tigers are entering 2019 fresh off of a 2018 campaign where they went 29-3 and reached the Class 3 Quarterfinals.

Girls that graduated from that team include Maddy Wenzelburger, Claire Werner, Alexis Thebeau, Grace Lassing, and Grace Hoffman. Festus head coach Karen Biehle does have some major talent coming back though. And with it, she expects great things.

 
Coach Biehle kept the girls busy this summer in preparation for a grueling fall season.

 
Part of that grueling schedule is a rematch of last year’s Class 3 Sectional against Ste. Genevieve that Festus was able to win. That game is the season opener for both schools and will be played on Tuesday.
