Festus West Main Street almost set for road work and improvements

(Festus) The City of Festus has moved one step closer to getting approval for much-needed improvements on West Main Street. City Administrator Greg Camp says this will be another STP project which will include surface improvements, new lighting, and sidewalks.
Camp the second phase of the project will continue along West Main to the Interstate 55 bridge.
Camp expects to get a contractor approved in the coming weeks and the work will begin this summer.
