Festus will flush its water system Thursday into Friday morning

(Festus) The City of Festus will be flushing out its water system starting Thursday (12/7) night all over town. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp explains why this is taking place.

Camp says residents need to be aware of a few things.

Again, the process of flushing the water from the fire hydrants will begin around 9 o’clock tonight (Thursday) and continue until 7 a.m. Friday. The water will still be safe to drink and for other normal uses.
