Festus Woman Killed In Accident

(Festus) One person from Festus was killed and two others seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident on Interstate 270 in St. Louis County.

The highway patrol says 22 year old Colby Price of Festus was driving south when his Trailblazer ran off the road and hit a guardrail and overturned.

20 year old Marissa Nixon of Festus was killed in the accident, while Price and Randall Nixon sustained serious injuries.

A one year old child and a three year old child both received minor injuries.

The accident happened just after two o’clock on I-270, south of Gravois Road.

All five people were from Festus.
