Festus Woman Killed In I-55 Crash in Jefferson County

(Danby) A woman from Festus is dead after crashing her vehicle Tuesday evening around 5 o’clock in Jefferson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on northbound I-55, just south of ‘T-T’ Highway when 72-year-old Mary Moran’s Cadillac SRX ran off the road.
The front end of the vehicle struck a bridge support.
The driver’s side of the vehicle struck a second bridge support and the front end of the Cadillac struck a rock bluff.
Moran was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the scene of the crash.
