Festus’ Wright named Dream Team Boys’ Cross Country Coach of the Year
Festus‘ Bryant Wright is once again the Regional Radio Boys’ Cross Country Dream Team Coach of the Year.
Wright guided the Tigers to an incredible 7th straight team state championship, racing past all the competition in Class 4 after a half-decade dominating Class 3.
But Wright says all the success, particularly from a young team, has never dulled his focus.
Festus also boasts 2 Dream Team runners in sophomores Ian Schram and Dream Team Runner of the Year Cullen Krieg, who both finished in the top 10 at the state championships.
Wright says his young stars have aimed high.
In the end, Wright says it feels good to continue to accomplish such impressive feats.
Festus had 3 different boys’ runners earn all-state honors, as well as 5 all-district runners.
