Fire Prevention Week Is Next Week

(Farmington) National Fire Prevention Week kicks off on Sunday. Todd Mecey is the Farmington Fire Chief. He says they’ll be busy all month long promoting fire safety.

Mecey says they really push the use of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors this month.

Mecey says they usually give away several hundred detectors during the month. The theme for National Fire Prevention Week is “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety.” Hear more with Mecey below.
