Firefighters Respond to Deadly House Springs Apartment Complex Fire
(House Springs) Authorities are reporting the death of one resident of the House Springs Apartments on Spring Creek after a fire broke out at the apartment complex.
High Ridge fire crews responded to the 1st alarm residential fire around 1:15 on Thursday morning.
That’s according to High Ridge Fire Protection District Engineer John Barton.
The victim was then brought outside where Big River Ambulance Paramedics conducted life saving efforts, but unfortunately the victim was pronounced deceased moments later.
Firefighters remained on scene until around 5:20 Thursday morning.
Barton says other residents of the apartment complex are receiving help.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the fire.
