First Case Of Monkeypox In St. Francois County

(Park Hills) The first case of the monkeypox virus has been confirmed by the St. Francois County Health Department in Park Hills. Linda Ragsdale is the director of the department. She couldn’t say where in the county it was diagnosed, but was able to give us some of the symptoms to watch out for.

We asked Ragsdale if there has been a vaccine developed yet for monkeypox.

If you are showing any of the symptoms of monkeypox and want to get tested, you can contact the St. Francois County Health Department in Park Hills. Hear more with Ragsdale below.
