Fiscal Year about to End for Mineral Area Council on the Arts

(Park Hills) The fiscal year for the Mineral Area Council on the Arts ends Wednesday, June 30th.
Arts council director Scottye Adkins looks back on the year.
Adkins also wants to thank this year’s donors.
Adkins says 17-percent of the funding for the Mineral Area Council on the Arts comes from state grants and 43-percent of their funding comes from local donors.
The rest of their funding comes from entry fees to the events the council hosts.
The new fiscal year for the arts council begins July 1st.
Their first event of the new fiscal year will be a concert featuring Creole music in September.
