Former Central QB starts senior college season 2-0

A former Central Rebel football star is off to a strong start in his senior year in college.
Quarterback Jake Bridges has led Missouri Valley College to a 2-0 start in 2019.
Despite his personal struggles with 3 interceptions in Week One, Bridges says he knew he was set up for a big game against Clarke.
Bridges threw for 303 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for another 71 yards and 2 TDs in a 44-6 home win.
He says both his younger receivers and himself were in sync because they played smart.
Next up for Bridges and Missouri Valley is a road test at Culver-Stockton in Canton, Missouri Saturday afternoon.
