FARMINGTON – After reaching the state championships and finishing top-five in the state in his weight class 3 times, Willie Siebert left Farmington High School in the spring of 2015 with a lot of options to continue his wrestling career in college.

But a visit to Missouri Valley College in Marshall made it pretty easy for Siebert to make a decision.

Siebert has been to the NAIA national championships twice in his first 3 seasons with the Vikings, and he compiled an impressive 24-13 record last season for a Valley program that is consistently ranked in the top five in the nation.
Siebert says his time at Farmington really prepared him for the next level.

Siebert says the young wrestlers who are thinking about continuing on to college have to be flexible.

Because of a redshirt during his freshman season, Siebert has 2 more years of eligibility left at Missouri Valley College.
