Former Missouri Republican Congressman Will Vote Democrat In U.S. Senate Race

(Jefferson City) Former Republican Missouri Congressman Tom Coleman has come out in favor of Democrat Trudy Busch Valentine for Missouri’s U.S. Senate seat.

Coleman is flatly against the candidacy of Eric Schmitt.

He says Schmitt is too extreme.

Coleman, who served Missouri’s 6th Congressional District for eight terms, claims Busch Valentine is more in line with most Missourians in her support of abortion rights.

Schmitt has received endorsements from some conservative groups like the Tea Party Express and Missouri Farm Bureau.

The election is Tuesday, November 8th.
