(Cherokee Pass) Four people were injured, one seriously, in a pickup truck accident this morning in Madison County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Highway 67, about seven miles south of Cherokee Pass when 74-year-old Donna Comstock of Farmington fell asleep in her Ford F-150 which was traveling northbound, the truck went into the median, crossed the southbound lanes, ran off the road, struck a fence and overturned into a field.

Comstock received moderate injuries but a passenger, 52-year-old Hope Clark of Pawnee, Oklahoma was seriously injured.

Two other passengers received minor injuries…21-year-old Teddrick Bankhead of Farmington and 23-year-old Noble MaHaffey of Pawnee.

The two from Oklahoma were taken to Madison Medical Center and the two from Farmington were taken to Parkland Health Center.
