(DESOTO) Fox and DeSoto will meet up at DeSoto High School Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 for the first-ever softball game between the two schools, a game that will be on AM 1400 KJFF.

Fox enters the fray at 2-5 after losing to Seckman 19-2 on Tuesday. Jefferson College verbal commit Lauren Duff leads the team in batting average, home runs and RBI’s through the first seven games. Warriors head coach Chris Starkey talks about the leadership role that Duff is taking on this season.

Coach Starkey just wants to see his girls leave it all out there when facing DeSoto.

DeSoto will carry a 7-3 record into the game after defeating Herculaneum 15-1 yesterday on Tuesday. Dragons head coach Chris Woelich has been getting plenty of offensive production from players like Evelyn Boyer and Tricia Charleville.

Boyer and Charleville have also made their impact in the circle for the Dragons.

Fox and DeSoto are scheduled for a 4:30 first pitch with pregame at 4:15 on AM 1400 KJFF and online here.
