Fox faces down Northwest in girls’ soccer on KJFF

Two Jefferson County teams having strong seasons in girls’ soccer meet up when the Fox Warriors visit the Northwest Lions Monday on KJFF.

Fox has rode a breakout first season of 28 goals from sophomore striker Aubrey Andrews to a 14-5 mark and a program record wins in a single season.

Warriors head coach Dustin Schnable says he feels like the roster has gotten very deep over the last few years.

Northwest has shown balanced scoring, with 3 players scoring at least 9 goals.

But the Lions have gotten to 13-5-1 largely because of senior goalkeeper Sharayah Donovan’s 5 shutouts and .800 save percentage.

Northwest has won the last 3 meetings with Fox.

The Warriors and Lions collide again Monday afternoon, with pregame coverage starting at 4 on AM 1400 KJFF.
