Fox Football Seeks More History Against De Smet in Class 6 Semifinal on the MyMoInfo SportStream

(St. Louis) The Class 6 Semifinals get underway tonight as the Fox Warriors football team makes the trip up to St. Louis to take on the De Smet Spartans on the MyMoInfo SportStream.

At 10-1 on the year, Fox has already accomplished more than they ever have in a single football season.

This has been their first 10-win season ever, and a forfeit from Lindbergh last week gave the Warriors their first district championship in program history.

However, they now face their toughest opponent of the season when they take on De Smet – the #9 ranked team in the nation according to MaxPreps.

Fox head coach Brent Tinker says he knows the challenge the Spartans present, but there is some good news.

The Spartans come into tonight at 5-0 with a roster loaded with talent.

They have eight Division 1 commits that will be attending schools like Ohio State, Mizzou, and Baylor among others.

However, it’s not just the top-tier talent on the roster that has De Smet ranked in the top 10 in the nation, they are deep across the board with speed to burn.

Tinker says in order to slow down the Spartans, his team has to be disciplined from start to finish.

Coverage of Fox at De Smet gets underway at 6 with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show with kickoff at 7 on the MyMoInfo SportStream.
