Fox to Take on Jackson in C5 D1 Championship Game After Warriors Beat Seckman 62-35

(ARNOLD) The Fox Warriors earn a spot in the Class 5 District 1 title game after a shootout with the Seckman Jaguars in Arnold on KJFF, a 62-35 triumph over their Suburban West rivals. We pick up the action in the 2nd half with the score favoring Fox, 34-21. Seckman turned to a special teams kickoff return to cut into the deficit.
Fox responded with a 22-yard touchdown run by QB Gavin McGinnesss. Later in the 4th quarter, McGinnesss got his 6th touchdown run of the game, the back-breaker.
Bob Neibert was the motor in the backfield for Fox, carrying the rock 20-plus times and scoring twice. He talks about the first half TD he scored from 4-yards out after a 45-yard run on the previous play.
Fox advances to the Class 5 District 1 championship game to take on top-seed Jackson next week. Fox will carry a 9-1 record into the contest.
