Fox’s Gavin McGinness Earns Dream Team Honor After Historic Season

(ARNOLD) Gavin McGinness quarterbacked the Fox Warriors during a historic 2018 campaign that led to him earning a spot on the Regional Radio Dream Team.

Fox hadn’t started a season 6-0 since 1966 and had never beaten Rockwood Summit, two things that Gavin was especially proud of this year.

Gavin was one of three Warriors that ran for 1,000-plus yards this season, something no Fox team had ever done before.

For Gavin, having this kind of success in his senior year made it extra special.

Gavin has verbally committed to continue his football playing career at McKendree University with former Fox teammate Tony Pisoni.1,00

Gavin is leaning towards a business degree.

In just two years as the Fox quarterback, Gavin McGinness accumulated 1,962 yards rushing with 30 touchdowns as well as 400 yards passing with 9 touchdowns. On defense, Gavin had 89 total tackles with 3 fumble recoveries and 3 interceptions. He also had a kickoff return for a touchdown. In 2018, Gavin earned Suburban West-National Division 1st Team Defensive Back, 1st Team Offense for the Athlete position, and Offensive Player of the Year.
