Fox’s Inman Caps Stellar Career with Football Dream Team Nod

(Arnold) The Fox Warriors football team has had one of their best runs in program history in recent years and that has been thanks in large part to the tremendous talent of the guy who has been under center.

Brock Inman has been the straw that stirs the drink for the Fox offense over the past two seasons, and this year, he earned himself a spot on the Football Dream Team.

He says the selection is validation of a lot of hard work.

Even though Inman plays quarterback for Fox, he does so in a triple-option offense that requires excellent decision making and running ability.

He did throw for 350 yards this season, but the running numbers are what is most impressive.

Inman carried the ball 101 times this season for 942 yards and 21 touchdowns in addition to guiding the offense to an average of 354 rushing yards per game, the second most per game in school history.

He breaks down his responsibilities on any given play.

Inman was a part of the deep and talented senior class for Fox that helped lead the team to their first 10-win season and district championship in program history this year.

He says the seniors have always been close.

This season Inman earned 1st Team All-Conference and All-District and was named the Suburban West Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight year.

He finished his career at Fox with an 18-5 record as the starting quarterback, 975 yards and 9 touchdowns through the air, and 1971 yards and 36 touchdowns on the ground.

Inman was also a standout on the defensive side for Fox over the past few seasons.

As a defensive back, he accumulated 83 tackles and five interceptions in his career.
