Fox’s Tinker Named 2020 Football Dream Team Coach of the Year

(Arnold) A terrific season for the Fox Warriors football team was made even better on Monday when head coach Brent Tinker was named the Regional Radio Dream Team Football Coach of the Year.

He says receiving that honor from area coaches is a reflection of everything his team was able to accomplish this year.

A lot of history was made by this year’s Fox football team.

They earned their first-ever 10-win season and also brought home their first district championship in program history.

The Warriors’ featured a deep and talented senior class that was made up of over 20 players which helped to pave the way for the team’s success this year.

Tinker says there were several things that made this senior group so special.

Even during a football season that was littered with schedule changes, Fox and many others were able to get in a full slate of games and bring about a level of normalcy that was desperately needed during exceedingly challenging times.

Tinker says he hopes that everyone involved with the Warriors’ program is able to take inventory of what they were able to accomplish this year, and wants the players to know just how appreciated their efforts are.

Fox finished the 2020 season at 10-2 and reached the final four of Class 6.
