Fredericktown and West County Set For Important May Matchup

The Fredericktown Blackcats and West County Bulldogs are set to do battle tomorrow in one of the final regular season games for both teams.  West County enters play at 17-6 having just secured fifth place in the MAAA Baseball Tournament.  For Manager Bobby Simily, the key to victory in today’s game is the same as it’s been all season.

Fredericktown enters play at 13-5 after their recent makeup game against the Ste. Genevieve Dragons, who beat the Blackcats Friday in the fifth place semifinals.  They’ll look to turn it around quickly in their last regular season game before district play begins May 13th against the Perryville Pirates.

First pitch is set for 4:30 pm tomorrow afternoon.  We’ll have coverage beginning at 4:15 on AM 800 KREI.
