Fredericktown At Central On J98

(Park Hills) In the first round of the Class 3 District 1 Tournament, the 2-seed Central hosts the 7-seed Fredericktown Blackcats on J98 the Boot. The 8-1 Rebels have had a phenomenal year, scoring upwards of 43 points per game and only allowing 15 to opponents. Head Coach Kory Schweiss says the offense is loaded with unselfish playmakers that can all make the big play.

Fredericktown picked up a big Week 9 win to finish the regular season 3-6. Fredericktown Head Coach Jake Whitener says that his kids deserved that win and may have given them a little momentum.

It’ll be a tough road ahead though for Fredericktown, in the October 7th meeting between these two teams. The Rebels shutout the Blackcats 42-0 and put up 372 yards of total offense. The J98 Game of the Week between Central and Fredericktown starts with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show at 6 pm.
