Fredericktown Azalea Festival Gets Underway Tonight

(Fredericktown) Fredericktown is the place to be starting this Thursday night and going through early Sunday evening.

It’s Azalea Festival time with the fun starting Thursday night at 7 at the high school gym for the prince and princess pageant.

On Saturday, make sure to check out the Foothills Car Club 60th Azalea Festival Car Show being held on the Madison County Courthouse Square.

Car club member Bill Francis says they will have nearly 30 classes and some fine trophies to hand out.

On Sunday afternoon, it’s the Azalea Festival Parade. Parade Chair Marissa Hale says judging of the floats will happen just before the parade gets going during the lineup.

The Fredericktown Azalea Festival will also feature live music, good food and drink, craft booths, carnival rides, a pet show, a truck pull, a church service and a whole lot more.

J-98 will broadcast from the festival Friday evening.
