Fredericktown Man Seriously Injured In ATV Accident In Madison County

(Madison County) A man from Fredericktown was seriously injured after crashing his ATV in Madison County Sunday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on a private road off Madison 9558, 10 miles west of Fredericktown, when 65-year-old Ray Schwebel failed to negotiate a left curve on his 2002 Suzuki King Quad 500 ATV, traveled off the road and overturned, ejecting Schwebel from the ATV. He was taken by air to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. The accident happened around 7:20 Sunday evening.
