Fredericktown Salutes Veterans

(Fredericktown) Today is Veterans Day, but students in the Fredericktown School District took to the streets Wednesday to say thank you to area veterans. Shannon Henson is the assistant superintendent of the district. He says they held a parade on Wednesday to give students a chance to show their appreciation.

Henson says he’s well aware that some of those students taking part in Wednesday’s parade will be future members of the armed forces.

Numerous ceremonies in honor of Veterans Day will be held throughout the day today across the area.
