Fredericktown Travels to Wilson Rozier to Face Farmington On KREI

This evening on AM 800 KREI, it’s an MAAA Large School Showdown on the baseball diamond between the 4-4 Fredericktown Blackcats and the 2-4 Farmington Knights at Wilson Rozier Park in Farmington. The Farmington Knights have lost three straight, losing to Valle Catholic in a barn-burner Tuesday evening 13-10. While the Knights fell short of the victory, Coach Josh Hoehn says he likes the way his kids competed.

Hoehn says pitching will be key for Farmington to turn around this losing streak.

The Blackcats went 2-1 in the Fredericktown Wood Bat Classic last week, picking up wins against Arcadia Valley and Jefferson where they would score 26 runs combined in those two games. The first pitch between Fredericktown and Farmington this evening will be at 4:30 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show starting at 4:15 on AM 800 KREI.
