Fredericktown Woman Injured in Car/Dump Truck Accident in Cherokee Pass

(Cherokee Pass) A woman from Fredericktown was injured Thursday in a two vehicle accident in Madison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 67 at Cherokee Pass when a Lincoln Town Car driven by 22-year-old Amber Teater of Fredericktown pulled into the path of a Western Star Dump Truck driven by 44-year-old Zebulon Sanders of Fredericktown.

Teater received moderate injuries and had to be flown to St. Louis University Hospital for treatment.

Sanders was not injured.
