Fredericktown’s Shankle Earns Athlete of the Week Award

(FREDERICKTOWN, Mo.) – Grant Shankle of the Fredericktown Blackcats had a memorable performance last week to earn recognition as the latest Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy “Play It Forward” Athlete of the Week. The senior striker netted six goals in the Blackcats’ 6-3 victory over Festus last Monday. Blackcats head coach Jamie McCoy said Shankle was locked in all game long.
McCoy said Shankle is not only gifted athletically, but also gifted mentally.
As the Athlete of the Week, Shankle will receive a t-shirt, a certificate and the chance to pick a local charity that will receive a $25 donation from Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy.
